Beneath every life experience a breath pattern shapes our state. The body remembers, the breath a mirror; reflecting back to us our patterns, edges, stories, conditioning. Bringing attention to the breath, awareness naturally gravitates into the body; an inner ecology alive with sensation, emotion, memory, image. The breath is thus our guide, and in conscious breathwork it’s passage brings fresh energy and intelligence to what seeks resolution, expression and integration.

The breath is directly experienced, a practice through we encounter the innate regenerative capcaity of the body as a living system. A healing process that is relational by nature – we do not do it alone, we are not alone, not separate. The breath, exquisitely multidimensional in its qualities, becomes a bridge, between unconscious and conscious, body and mind, the stitch that weaves inner with outer, blurring beginning and end, past and future…

Initial 1:1 session

For those new to this practice, we start with grounding & nervous system regulation work to give you tools to modulate your own journey, followed by the breath journey (≈50 mins), and integration time after.

For partners, friends, family, collaborators wanting to explore the breath together in a shared, held space. The first session is 2 hours, and any subsequent can be 90mins or 2 hours.

Sliding scale: To acknowledge the cost of living and disparities in economic situations, I offer a sliding scale on all sessions. If the price listed is a barrier for you, please be in touch to discuss alternatives. I am also open to trades and exchanges.

What to expect

Sessions can be held online via Zoom or in-person by request. Each journey follows a gentle arc:

Arrival & Orientation

We begin by landing in the body – orienting, sensing, and attuning to the breath and what’s present. Together we explore your intention, or what you’re curious to work with. I introduce the breath pattern, and nervous system tools you can use to modulate your own journey – ways to stay resourced so you feel grounded and empowered throughout the process.

Breathwork Journey

You’ll be guided through a Conscious Connected Breathwork session supported by verbal cues, somatic invitations, and a carefully chosen soundscape. As the breath opens, it may surface sensation, emotion, imagery, or insight, or simply offer spaciousness and deep rest. Nothing is forced; your system leads the way, we go gently, gradually building capacity and connection with this practice.

Integration & Closing

We close by settling the body, grounding the energy that has moved, and making space for reflection. Integration guidance is offered to help you orient in the hours and days after, allowing whatever has stirred to continue unfolding at its own pace.

Before we start

Before we begin working together, we will have an initial 20 minute consultation call to discuss what has brought you to this practice, and to check that this is the right place to start. Conscious connected breath is an activating practice that creates strong physical and emotional affects in the body, which can bring a lot of material to the surface. It is best practice to ensure that there is grounding, and nervous system capacity in place first before engaging with this deeper psyche work. Rest assured that this ‘prior’ work is just as transformative!

Please read through the contraindications for this practice and let me know if anything applies when you get in touch.

Contraindications:

  • Cardiovascular disease including angina, previous heart attack or stroke
  • High blood pressure (not controlled with medication) or low blood pressure with a fainting history
  • Diagnosis of aneurysm in the brain or abdomen
  • Uncontrolled thyroid conditions and uncontrolled diabetes
  • Epilepsy and/or seizures
  • Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia or a history of psychosis
  • Any recent psychiatric condition or emotional crisis
  • Pregnancy
  • Detached retina 
  • Glaucoma 
What you’ll need

For online sessions:

  • A quiet, relaxing & undisturbed space
  • Good internet connection
  • Space to lie down, a blanket
  • Headphones (ideally)
  • An eye mask (optional) – helps to drop in
In person

If you would like to have an in person session, I work from a space in Penryn for 1:1, 2:1s, and small group sessions (+£10 space hire fee)

For medium groups (up to 10), I work from a barn in Seworgan near Constantine.

I can also come to you, if you have a suitable space/workplace!
